Seeing players grasp the concepts I teach and implement it into their game is one of my greatest satisfactions."
Barfour started basketball around 12 years of age. You could find him playing on netball courts, on the street with trollies, outdoor playgrounds, anywhere really! He fell in love with the game and picked up lots of knowledge from his coaches and team mates over the years.
Barfour played a lot of basketball during high school with Westfield’s Sports High, Bankstown Bruins representative U18 and heaps of local comps. But due to many injuries he decided to start coaching so he could still be involved with the game he adores so much.
Barfour's coaching career started off with the Bankstown Bruins where his passion for the game was nurtured by one of the coaches who took him under her wing. Barfour spent 3 years coaching their Learn to Play program and multiple holiday camps.
Barfour continues to take his coaching to higher heights, having spent the last year working closely with elite players and teams at a High Performance level.
Barfour currently runs one on one sessions, small group sessions, and school holiday camps.
