A mixed class for men and women who want to get involved in basketball!
Morning Hoops classes are 60 and 90 minute basketball orientated workouts and we invite participants of any skill or fitness level to come along and have a go. We add music to the mix as we take you on a basketball journey through the FUNdamentals of our sport. You need not know everything or even anything about basketball, just bring your eagerness to learn and your friendly attitude and you will fit in just fine. Our sessions are designed to develop sport-specific skills, improve fitness, flexibility, enhance your communication, and of course have lots of fun! To ensure we are covering the key fundamental areas of our sport, we have developed a 12 week programme.. Week 1. HP Stations/Workout all areas Week 2. Footwork Week 3. Ball-Handling Week 4. Passing & Cutting Week 5. HP Stations/Workout all areas Week 6. Shooting Week 7. Defense Week 8. Spacing & Getting open Week 9. Coach's Choice! Week 10. Early Transition Week 11. Moving without the ball Week 12. Attacking & Individual Offense * You can join in at any time, you do not need to wait to start on week 1. We are teaching a theme each week so that all classes align to a common outcome. Its always different and you can start right where you are!
